SITUATION UPDATE

The Governing Body, management and staff of Gambia Tourism Board hereby inform all stakeholders that the 90 days state of emergency has been revoked by the National Assembly and flights from our source markets are resuming. From the UK, both Thomas Cook and Gambia Experience will resume operations from the 27th of January and 1st of February, 2017 respectively from Manchester, Gatwick and Birmingham while Brussels Airlines will continue to fly from Heathrow and Gatwick.

In Holland, both TUI and Corendon will resume operations the first week of February. In Belgium, both TUI Belgium and Thomas Cook will resume operations by the 31st January, 2017 with the inclusion of Brussels Airlines flying four times a week.

From the Spanish market, flight operations have resumed with Binta Canaries and Vueling. From Scandinavia, Thomas Cook will resume operations on the 4th of February, 2017.
